Public Transportation

Hiawathaland Public Transit

Convenient bus service available to everyone who lives in, or is visiting the City of Cannon Falls, or Cannon Falls, Leon, Stanton Townships, and a limited area of Randolph Township. Use this service for: medical and dental appointments; shopping, banking and other business; social activities, day care centers or preschool; after school activities; senior dining; etc.

DIAL-A RIDE BUS SERVICE

Is available in the Cannon Falls area: Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There is no service on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. The service provides Dial A Ride (Curb to Curb) service. Cost is $1.50 per trip.

Trash Removal

City residents are responsible to contract for their own trash removal, however, the City of Cannon Falls contracts for the curb side recycling service. Residents are billed for the recycling service on their water bills.
